About sensor…
Current transformers (CTs) are sensors that are used for measuring alternating current. They are particularly useful for measuring whole building electricity consumption (or generation for that matter). The split core type such as the CT in the picture above, is particularly suitable for DIY use it can be clipped straight on to either the live or neutral wire coming into the building without having to do any high voltage electrical work.
A rotary encoder is a type of position sensor which is used for determining the angular position of a rotating shaft. It generates an electrical signal, either analog or digital, according to the rotational movement.
By rotating the rotary encoder can be counted in the positive direction and the reverse direction during rotation of the output pulse frequency, unlike potentiometer count, this rotation counts are not limited. With the buttons on the rotary encoder can be reset to its initial state, that starts counting from 0.
Both Encoder and Current connection is connected to ports: GPIO4, GPIO5, GPIO6, GPIO7, A0
