Welcome to the Network of Excellence of our HomeLab Kit Community. This page is a supportive environment for students and teachers using the Robotic and Mechatronic HomeLab Kit. We are offering learning material and full set of methodologies for the teaching and self education of AVR microcontroller technology. The Network of Excellence is meant as collaboration site. We hope, you can and will benefit from its use and our pracical examples on the one hand and on the other hand that you will contribute to the content, if you notice, something is missing or maybe faulty.

We are currently supporting the following languages and if you like, you can participate in translating to your own language!

The access in the site is divided into three groups: free access, registered user access and teachers. Most material is free to use but half of it need registration. In case the registered user is a teacher he/she should send a notice to site manager (depending the country and school) and user is added to the teachers group. This gives additional rights to access the solutions of the exercises, answers of the questions and training material. To For starting the navigation on the site just select appropriate language on the left menu and then topic of interest.



This site is developed and kept running by the Department of Mechatronics, Tallinn University of Technology and by the the support of EU and TUT Technology School program. Local versions is managed by the following universities:

  • Estonian: Tallinn University of Technology
  • German: University of Applied Sciences Bochum
  • Finnish: Helsinki University of Technology
  • French: Belfort-Montbéliard University of Technology
