This page is a supportive environment for students and teachers using the Robotic HomeLab Kit. We are offering learning material and full set of methodologies for the teaching and self education of AVR microcontroller technology. Additionally you can find here information about the ARM-CAN HomeLab Kit or AVR-CAN Kit.
This page is offering you e.g. a bunch of practical examples, about digital input/output, indicators and displays, sensors and motor control. The driving force of this site is HANDS-ON learning concept. The figure below is giving you an overview and set of important keywords of the concept trying to force the engineering domain and international collaboration in learning and teaching.

We would recommend to you, to start with the Introductional part of AVR microcontroller, our theoretical basis material, dealing with the functionality of e.g. registers, interrupts and clock issues.
If you are firm with the theoretical part, you can go ahead starting with the practical use of the AVR and the Installation part, heading to the practical examples. Depending on your level of knowledge and getting the idea how to document your project, the example project part would be interesting for you.

The Network of Excellence is meant as collaboration site. We hope, you can and will benefit from its use and our practical examples on the one hand and on the other hand that you will contribute to the content, if you notice, something is missing or seems faulty. You can always register yourself on the page to take a part of discussions and get the extended access. In case of owner of robotic HomeLab hardware and being teacher in any school you should request the supervisor privileges. This will open you the supervisor section with the specific content.

Diese Webseite wurde als unterstütztende Plattform für Studenten, Schüler und Lehrer eingerichtet, die sich mit dem Mechatronic HomeLab Kit auseinandersetzen möchten.

Die dazugehörige Methodik und die Hardware wurde im Zuge von Förderungen durch das Leonardo Da Vinci Programm in den Projekten INTERSTUDY, AUTOSTUDY Project und MoRobE umgesetzt.

Diese Präsenz wurde entwickelt von dem Fachbereich Mechatronik der Technischen Universität Tallinn und dem Fachbereich Elektrotechnik und Informatik der Hochschule Bochum, sowie unterstützt von dem Technischen Schulprogramm aus Tallinn.

Der Zugang zu dieser Seite ist in drei Gruppen eingeteilt:

• freier Zugang
• Zugang für registrierte Benutzer
• und Zugang für Lehrende.

Der Hauptteil des Materials ist frei zugänglich, aber für einige Inhalte bedarf es einer vorhergigen Registrierung. Sollte die sich registrierende Person in der Lehre tätig sein, empfehlen wir ihr/ihm dem jeweiligen Seitenverwalter (abhängig von Land und Hochschule) zu kontaktieren um der jeweiligen Lehrergruppe zugeordnet zu werden. Der Zugriff auf die Lehrergruppe gibt Ihnen zusätzliche Rechte für den Zugriff auf Übungen, Lernzielkontrollen und weiteres Trainingsmaterial.

Für den Beginn empfehlen wir die jeweilige Sprache auszuwählen und dann im linksseitigen Menü das Interessengebiet zu wählen.
